The Atlanta Journal-Constitution sent out a report supposedly of an unknown man killed after he was caught shoplifting two DVD players from a Walmart.
In Lithonia, Georgie two Walmart employees and a security guard proceeded to follow the man outside and tackle him until the police arrived to make an arrest. When the police finally arrived, one of the officers hand-cuffed the man... and then realized that he was unresponsive and bloody. Later a Walmart spokesperson said "No amount of merchandise is worth someone's life. Associates are trained to disengage from situations that would put themselves or others at risk." Obviously not!
This is just another perfect example of why Black Friday should not exist!
